3rd Ave Shore Grand Opening Bash

Hi friends & fam :) Just wanted to say thanks for all the support and love you've shared with Ted & I on our adventures in business & the handmade life that we so cherish. Can't help but smile when we look back at the days in the Kalama house garage where we had our first cutter (from craigslist!) plugged into an extension cord from the house!! I would be designing in one corner and Ted would be restoring a piece of furniture that he'd scored from the side of the road in the other corner! Ha! It's been a good & blessed ride for the both of us. Please come join us in our first grand opening in Kailua. The 3rd Ave Shore shop will serve as a place where both of our passions meet: Handmade SURFace Graphics & Custom Reclaimed Wood Furniture...among other things you didn't know you needed :) Sorry for the rant, we're just a bit excited....much love & aloha to you!

Chevron Bliss!!

How HOT is the chevron zigzag design right now???  I might be a little late on this bandwagon...but I LOVE the look :)  3rd Ave Shore typically is ocean inspired, but I think this fits right in with the "coastal" look.  In-fact these are going up in the shop this week!   Our pack of chevron zig-zag stripes is 36 FEET long!!  You can mix and match colors too.  Enjoy:)

Dear one,

As a bride you are full of amazing ways to add some unexpected elements to your wedding. Lets say your wedding is themed around a song that is very special to the two of you. Why not then have the song lyrics displayed on the wall at your reception? Or perhaps you want to have your wedding monogram weaved throughout the day. One of my girlfriends told me about Olive a couple years ago, a new boutique in the Kailua neighborhood. Of course I immediately hopped in my car to check it out. This boutique is a one-stop-shop for any occasion! Need a hostess gift? check.  Need a last minute birthday gift? no prob.  Want to reward yourself for that promotion you just got? This is the place! It’s magnificent. The owner Ali  recently connected with 3rd Ave Shore to use one of our tree decals to tie in a handmade swing that would hang inside the shop.  So creative on their part!!  Check the pics out or better yet go say hello to Olive.Enjoy :)
