Chevron Bliss!!

How HOT is the chevron zigzag design right now???  I might be a little late on this bandwagon...but I LOVE the look :)  3rd Ave Shore typically is ocean inspired, but I think this fits right in with the "coastal" look.  In-fact these are going up in the shop this week!   Our pack of chevron zig-zag stripes is 36 FEET long!!  You can mix and match colors too.  Enjoy:)

Dear one,

As a bride you are full of amazing ways to add some unexpected elements to your wedding. Lets say your wedding is themed around a song that is very special to the two of you. Why not then have the song lyrics displayed on the wall at your reception? Or perhaps you want to have your wedding monogram weaved throughout the day. You can feature it on the door of the ceremony site, to the champagne glasses that are used for your first toast! Your dance floor can be custom with you names and date of the special day. "Just Married" or "Happily ever after" on the back windshield is an awesome way to share your joy with others! One of my girlfriends told me about Olive a couple years ago, a new boutique in the Kailua neighborhood. Of course I immediately hopped in my car to check it out. This boutique is a one-stop-shop for any occasion! Need a hostess gift? check.  Need a last minute birthday gift? no prob.  Want to reward yourself for that promotion you just got? This is the place! It’s magnificent. The owner Ali  recently connected with 3rd Ave Shore to use one of our tree decals to tie in a handmade swing that would hang inside the shop.  So creative on their part!!  Check the pics out or better yet go say hello to Olive.Enjoy :)

Kailua Classic....

Wow what a weekend!!!  Just dropping some behind the scene action at the shop.  

Yes 3rd Ave Shore does create handmade ocean inspired wall decals {and will ship to anywhere in the W O R L D}, but we also believe in working hard and playing harder!  :)  A while back my hubby Ted had a  {Tequila Sunrise Series} Hobie  Catamaran donated to him.   Well after some TLC, it was launched in Lanikai  this past weekend with the help of some great friends.  Teddy named it "Kailua Classic" and you can see why....

I created the name "Kailua Classic"  in our Ocean Blue Matte Vinyl  and partnered it with a fun vintage font.

Are you in need for some marina decals for your boat, catamaran, jet ski, paddle board, surf board??? Message the shop and I'll get started on them....they are too fun and really can make your vessel pop with a one of a kind design or just the name of your cruiser.  Enjoy the ride.

Get Inspired & Go for It!

Did you happen to catch the Oscars last night?  Ted and I were in and out of it (basically going from ESPN and back to the awards) but I was so happy to catch (Kirk Baxter) advise his daughter during his acceptance  speech : “To my daughter, Bronte, find something you truly love doing and great things can happen...."

  I just had to smile, because growing up I was always encouraged by my family to do the same...as my mom reminded me often : "Sam, there is nothing you can not do. Thank God everyday for your mind because it is the most powerful organ He gave you."

I hear this in the back of my mind quite often and it has turned into my natural filter when I come across a "no" or when  a thought of "there is no way this will work.."  In the business world.

I encourage Y O U to do the things you most love and everything will fall into place.

3rd Ave Shore was truly built out of a dream.  I always new I wanted to work for myself and produce a quality product from  my love for the sea to the world.  It has grown much bigger then just that now, I am now servicing the community with business storefront designs....and often encouraging other new entrepreneurs "If you build it, they will come." and loving very minute of it.

Trust me you have BIG talents and the rest of us are just waiting patiently to see them bloom :)  May this little blog post awaken the child dreams in you!  Please keep 3rd Ave Shore posted on your progress, I'd  love to design a logo/decal for you for free to help get the word out there about YOUR talents.
